Carl "Big C" Walsh

Services for Carl “Big C” Walsh, 61, of Henderson, TX, are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, July 22, 2016 at Zion Hill Assembly of God Church with Bro. Tony Henson and Bro. Dewayne Mixon officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.

Interment will be at Zion Hill Cemetery in Athens, TX.

Carl passed away on July 18, 2016 in Henderson, TX.

He was born on August 21, 1954 in San Antonio, TX.

Carl’s health forced him into retirement from his passion of welding. He loved music and playing his guitar. Carl was known by many in the oil field as Big C and by his grandchildren as Little Pepe.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carmen LaDesma; grandmother, Mary Ruth Walsh “Mama”; grandfather, William Reagan Walsh; and mother-in-law, Willie Mae Jumper.

Carl is survived by his wife, Wanda Walsh; son, Donnie and Shannon Walsh; daughter, Shirley Walsh Morrison; grandsons, Colby Walsh, Vaughn Liedtke, Nikoals Fletcher, Kash Fletcher, Vance Fletcher, Chris LePelley, and Cody LePelley; grandson by choice, Dylan Smith; brother, Danny and Martha Walsh of Palestine; brother, James and Lawanda Walsh of Crandall; brother, Baron Hunt of San Antonio; nephew, James and Angela Walsh of Tyler; nephew, Jim Walsh of Crandall; Niece, Julie and Matt Hutchins of Austin; three great nieces and 1 great nephews; and special companion, Coco.

Visitation will be Thursday July 21, 2016 at Eubank Funeral Home from 6 pm – 8 pm.
