Bonnie Lois Peterson

She passed away July 14, 2015, in Canton, TX.

Bonnie was born July 31, 1922, in Tyler, TX, to R.D. & Jennie Morgan.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas.

Bonnie grew up in Edom and attended Van High School. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Ben Wheeler for many years. Bonnie was very independent and a caretaker who enjoyed quilting in her spare time. The last 9 years of Bonnie’s life were spent at Canton Healthcare where she assisted with all the activities. Her favorite foods were pinto beans and coleslaw.

Bonnie is survived by her Brother, Kenneth & Gennie Morgan, Brother, Carlos E. & Emma Morgan, and Sister, Mary Dych .

She is preceded in death by her Parents, R.D. & Jennie Lynette Morgan, Husband, Earl “ Bud” Peterson, Brothers, Robie, William, Calvin, & Michael Morgan and Sisters, Jennie Funderburk and Lucretia Morgan.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
