Bobby went home to the Lord on May 20, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on March 24, 1945 in Wills Point, Texas to Leon Bridwell and Mary Jane Bridwell.
Bobby grew up in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School. He was active in school in football, track and all things with the rodeo. Bobby was an avid calf roper and pick up man in the rough stock competitions. Something he would do into his adult life and instill in his children. On November 24, 1968 he married his one true love, Barbara Greer. They had a wonderful and beautiful life of love and laughter.
Bobby spent over 60 years involved as an auctioneer at the Horse Sales. Bobby’s pride and joy was watching his girls and grandchildren ride in competitions. He spent many a day’s hauling horses and his daughters from sports events to rodeo events, loving every minute of it. Then later in life he was the biggest cheerleader watching grandchildren's participation in their individual sports. Bobby was a strong Christian man who loved the Lord, his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. –He loved his horse and animals too! Bobby will live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved him.
Bobby is preceded by his parents, Leon and Mary Jane Bridwell; sibling and in-laws; Billie Ann and James Furrh, J. L. and Regina Bridwell, Aileen and Lewis Gray.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Bridwell; children, Marty and Dale Nace, Shelley and Rex Morgan; grandchildren, Lane, Zach, Logan, Lyndi, Tanner and Lexis; great grandchildren, Lawson, Ezra; many nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the funeral home.
