Betsy Kay Larsen

Betsy passed away on September 1, 2020 at home. She was born on January 13, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia to Joseph Avril Prouse and Anna Elizabeth Tittle Prouse.

Betsy lived in the Canton area for many years. She was a simple woman who enjoyed gardening, reading, music and being outdoors. Betsy was known for her loyalty, compassion and unmatched work ethic. She dearly loved her children. Betsy was an animal lover too. She doted on her cats, Tony, Jethro and Ms. Kitty and her dog, Minx. She was a good friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Betsy is survived by her sons and daughter in-laws, Eric and Messa Larsen and Jon Michael and Lesley Crotts; sister, Jeanne, her best friend Sherry Jordan and first husband John Paul Crotts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Prouse; husband, Dennis Larsen.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the funeral home.
