Bea Archer

Bea passed away at Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown, TX. on April 6, 2019.

She was born August 10, 1945 in the Walton Community to Thomas Richard Womble

and Alta Oleta Wilson.

Bea grew up in Walton and graduated from Athens High School in Athens, TX. in 1965.

She was a retail business owner (Shellito’s in Gun Barrel City) and raised quarter horses for many years. Bea also enjoyed reading, collecting antiques and old coins, and also had a love for the Native American Culture.

She is survived by her Daughters: Sheila and Dean Turnbow and Kristin and John Howell; Grandchildren: Madison Howell and Logan Howell; Brother, Altos and Dean Womble; Brother, Eldon and Allie Womble; Sister, Barbara and Charles Hill.

Bea is preceded in death her Parents, Thomas and Alta Womble; Brother, Dellos Womble and Brother Gene Womble; Husbands J. Marvin ter Kuile, Lee Shellito, and Jim Archer.

Interment will be at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
