He was born May 31, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to the late Samuel and Ethel (Bowen) Altimore. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Wilbur was a driver for the Teamsters Union, and later worked for Bob Altimore Excavation. He attended Whipple Heights Christian Missionary Alliance. Wilbur touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn. He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Ronnie) Estep of Perry Twp., Danny (Joni) Altimore of North Carolina and Barbara (Daniel) Thewes of Perry Twp.; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very, very much.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Praxyl. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 11am – 12pm, one hour before services at the funeral home.
