Tina was born on July 11, 1964 in Canton, Ohio, where she grew up with her parents (Bill & Angie Young) and siblings (Lisa, Dean & Sheri). She attended Warstler Elementary School, then Middle Branch and graduated from Canton South High School in 1982. Tina also attended college at Stark Technical College.
Tina held various jobs throughout her life, starting with waitressing at The Root Beer Stand in Canton, then was a bank teller, customer representative at GE, Sales at Copyco, HUD housing and finally as a compliance analyst for Millenium. She was such a hard worker and loyal employee, but her most favorite job was that of being a mom to her son, James (Jimmy) Shreck. She loved watching him perform with his band, TLN (The Ladies Night) and would travel to see him wherever he was. She would proudly announce to everyone that “the singer was her son”.
Tina loved to laugh and tell jokes or send funny gifs, but mostly she loved laughing at herself. She loved traveling with family and friends and always looked forward to her next adventure. She loved music and went to as many concerts as she could. She also loved her cats, Opie, Daisy, Sheeba, Sophie & Sadie.
Tina will be remembered as a loving mother, sister & daughter, an incredibly hard-worker, a tough and resilient person, and a caring and sharing friend to so many. Her memory will live on in the scholarship that she and her sister setup at Canton South High School offering up to $25,000 to assist students with college tuition. You are gone but NEVER forgotten.
Tina was preceded in death by her grandparents (Herman & Jean Young). She is survived by her son (James Schreck III) and his partner (Grant Prasher), her parents (Angie & Bill Young), sister Lisa Wilfong (Andy), brother Dean Mugnaini (Becky)), sister Sheri Griffith (Keith), nieces and nephews Keri & Damian Hintz, Tara Griffith, Hannah & Dion Barber, Madison & Tyler Minton, Adam Mugnaini & Ashley Annan & Tyler Noffsinger as well as great nephews and nieces Daxton Noffsinger, Cordell & Ariana Barber and Wesley, Wyatt & Wreney Hintz and lifelong companion Greg Umpleby.
