Terrell suffered from severe mental health issues all of his life, but was simple and carefree. He loved his family and animals, enjoyed yardwork, cookouts, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pearl and James Holloway; maternal grandparents, Donald Matheson and Annette Smith; and maternal uncle, Richard Mallcheck. He is survived by his mother, Tracy Smith; father, Terrell Dukes, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Nancy Matheson; sisters, Brittney Smith, McKenna Keiffer, and Akazhia Newman; brothers, Calix and Jose Maldonado, Terron Keiffer, and Maurice Davidson; longtime partner, Kimberly Klema; stepson, Mikel Whitmore; nieces and nephews, I’Lynn, I’Onna “Beebz”, I’Marion, and Maurice Davidson, Jr.; special cousins, Cherie (Tom) Clapper-Dent; Randall (Amanda) Clapper, Chara (Tom) Peterson, Danielle (Matt) Dolan, and Skylar Dent; and a host of family and friends.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00-3:00pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home where a guest registry will be available for callers to write and share their memories of “Fatty”.
