 We always called our relationship as:  Sister from another Mister. Through grade school, high school, and to the present, we always had that link that made knowing Sweebie a treasured memory forever. Always the best of us all and our moral compass, we are left all the better,  to have been blessed and enjoyed  her special qualities in our lives. She may finally be pain free and in a much better place, but we will always remember our angel on earth. 

So many happy memories as neighbors. Cookouts, parties ... fun with the kids.  We will always remember her for her easy going style and fun to be with. May she rest in peace and pain free at last.

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the McCallin and Sibila families on the shared loss of a creative, loving and beautiful women whose courage and endurance was certainly an inspiration to us all.  Sue was the tops as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and cousin.  Her faith and generosity particularly shined when she helped care for  her father and  mother during their final years when Sue was battling against her own illness.  

My fondest memory of Sue goes back to the annual Sibila family picnics at grandma's house.  Here, Sue and her sister Joan and my sisters Marilyn, Michele and I presented theatrical plays for our cousins, aunts and uncles.  We made-up the play, created the costumes and used props located in the basement of Uncle Bill and Aunt Irene's home.  What fun we had as children!  

Sue's spirit will always remain in our hearts and mind.

I remember talking with Sue at Abica and Rob’s wedding. We talked about how happy she was to be there and how beautiful Ab looked. We also discussed making cookies; I was deeply impressed with the taste, quantity and beautiful presentation of the cookies she had brought.
I remember Sue as a gracious, kind, and humble person. I am blessed to have known her.

So glad to have had Sue in our family all of these years! She was a very sweet, lovable person and so brave in all of her painful years! Our prayers are with her and her family!

Steph and I would like to pass our deepest condolence to the family of a great warrior.  She was a very special cousin having grown up next door neighbors.  I remember being a small child and Sue, being in the first or second grade, would get Mike and myself (and anyone else around) and set up a classroom in her basement.  There she would pretend she was a teacher, instructing her students on the day's lesson.

Many years later, when I was on the JTVFD, we would get called out late at night/early mornings for an alarm.  Sue would jump out of bed when she heard Mike's fire phone ring (that's what we had back then) and run outside, pull Mike's truck out of the garage, turn on the fire lights and have the doors open ready for us to climb in when we got there.  Oh how I remember her standing in her pj's saying "be careful" as we rushed to get to the station.

I will always remember her having a heart of gold, willing to do most anything for anyone.  That was my cousin.  Heaven has gained a tremendous angel this year.  She will be dearly missed.

 I will always remember how much fun we had growing up and making the trip to Canton or gramma Green's in Cleveland.  John, JP and family, Joan and Tom, Mike and Nan I can only offer my sincere condolences.  She was a wonderful person and a great fighter.  I will truly miss her.

Cathy and I send along our most sincere condolences to the family. Getting reacquainted with Sue and John upon our return to Ohio after being gone for almost 40 years meant the world to us. Sharing memories as we worked our heritages was wonderful. I will surely miss our many great conversations over the last 5 years. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel and she will surely be watching over all of us! God bless you John an JP and family!!

Brigitte and I would like to offer our deepest and heartfelt condolences to all the family members during this tragic loss. We will both to continue to pray for Sue and all her family members.

I met Sue at St Mike's ans we were friends lall through grade school and on to Central 
Catholic. Upon graduation we all went our separate ways but reunited on planning our CCHS class reunions. Sue & I kept in touch by phone always checking on one another. I will miss our talks and I know you have earned your angel wings. I will miss you my friend.

I met Sue when I was about 5. She was a neighbor. Our fathers worked together.  We went to St Mikes together.  Played baseball in their huge backyard, did homework together.  Our moms were Brownie leaders to the troop we were in.  So many early childhood memories. After school our lives went in different directions.  Renewed our friendship in the 90s when I first heard of her cancer diagnosis.  We then formed a deeper bond.  Our friendship has a special place in my heart.  I will miss our walks, our talks and her little cookies.  Rest In Peace Sweet Sue. 

I met Sue in HS at Central Catholic in 1967. It was a big school for me coming from an 8th grade class of 20! Sue and I became fast friends, introducing me to all her St Mike’s friends too! We’ve lived apart for 45 years, me in FL and her in Ohio, but every year when I’d come up , it was like we all lived close! You’re missed already Sue!
