Martin "Gil" Gilbert Fultz

Known to us all as ‘Gil’, he was born November 3rd, 1962 in Canton, Ohio to the late Martin J. and Judy (Hines) Fultz. Gil was a Jackson High School graduate who retired from the City of Canton Water Department. Though he was a quiet man, Gil’s sense of humor could keep you laughing for days. He was also someone you could depend on. Gil had a giving heart and was always there for anything you needed- no matter the circumstance. He valued his Faith and relationship with Jesus and loved talking about it with everyone. He lived in Florida throughout most of his childhood and some adult years but ultimately took residence in Ohio. Gil was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his three sons, Adam, Martin Jr (Shannon), and Matthew (Candace); his brother, Robert; sister, Vicki (Tony) Scalise; grandchildren, Blayde, Lily, Owen, and Evelyn; and special friend and companion, Sharon McCallin Stanton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kelly Mayle.

A visitation for Gil will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM. Gil will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
