Ladyne J. Ladyne Floom Stark

Grateful for 92 years of earthly life, the family of Ladyne Stark joyfully announces her passing to eternal life with Christ on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

She was born November 19, 1921 in Canton, Ohio to the late Harry and Edith Floom. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, and was a member of St. Michael Parish. Ladyne supported WWII Troops as a “Rosie the Riveter” at the Hoover Company. She held membership in the Lake Cable Garden Club and Lake Cable Women’s Club; enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking; and was an avid euchre player.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl L. Stark. She is survived by her children, Carol (Robert) Stanley, Jill (Nick) Mazzocca, Harry “Bud” Stark, and Terry (Janet) Stark; grandchildren, Kristine Hesse, Todd (Kami) Stanley, Heidii Stark, Janella Mazzocca, Stacie (Jeff) Stanley, Tressa (Mike) Mazzocca-Trodden, and Josephus Stark; eleven great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; and longtime friend, Sylvan (Sid) Elmerick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Blvd. NW, Canton, with Rev. Fr. James McKarns officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 9:00-10:00am Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Sterling House or Crossroads Hospice.
