Kenneth Ray Kehrer

Ken is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marlene; daughters, Tisha Ann (Jason) Barber of Canton, Oh, and Krista Rae (Brandon) Dulaney of North Canton; grandsons, Joshua Barber, Miles Dulaney, Spencer Dulaney, and Anderson Dulaney; and brother, Stephen A Kehrer of Camby, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous relatives.

Ken was born on March 19, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to Wallace and Audrey Kehrer. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1964. He graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1969 and graduated in 1988 with a Master’s degree from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. He and Marlene (Squire) were married in Columbus, OH in 1971. Ken was ordained into Christian ministry on July 13, 1975 in Indianapolis, IN. Ken and Marlene ministered to congregations in Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee.

In his free time, he enjoyed being with his grandsons. Together, they read books, traveled places, and played games. Ken was also an avid Fox News watcher. He was an active member of River Tree Jackson Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to River Tree Jackson’s food pantry or back pack program would be greatly appreciated.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday October 15, 2023 at 4:00pm with a visitation beginning at 2:00pm at River Tree Church Jackson. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Garden at 11:00am on Monday, October 16, 2023.
