Dots graduated from Hoover High School, North Canton, Ohio, in 1970. He served our nation proudly in the U.S. Army. He noted that when he got his draft notice “Uncle Sam wants me but I don’t want him!” But he served honorably. He retired from Barnhart Printing.
Dots was an avid golfer, belonging to several leagues. He traveled on out-of-state golf trips with several of his buddies each year.
Dots doesn’t have a long list of academic accolades or a brilliant career to boast about. What he does have is the love and respect of everyone he ever knew. No one has ever said an unkind word about him. And he never said an unkind word to anyone else. He was a genuinely good person and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
