Janet P. “Minnie” Snyder, age 78, of Canton, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2010. She was born April 18, 1932 in Powhatan Point, Ohio to the late James and Katherine (Kemp) Brown.
She was a pen pal to many servicemen in Vietnam.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meucil J. Snyder; and one brother.
She is survived by children, James (Ginny) and Katherine Snyder, all of Canton; grandchildren, Sara Tornero, Amy McNew, and Brent, Brandon and Mikayla Winter; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Autumn; three brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton. Burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
