Helen L Edwards

She was born August 28, 1932 in Canton, Ohio to the late Edward and Olive Belle (Miller) Jones. Helen attended Lincoln High School in Canton. She spent her life taking care of others beginning with the elderly at Marygrove Nursing Home and then her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers as well as Edward, Louis, and Stanley Jones and two sisters Vivian Mae (Jones) Sickels and Ruby Jean Jones. She is survived by her husband Arthur W. Edwards with whom she was married 52 years this past Valentine’s Day. She is also survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol & Rick Black and Bonnie & John Farmer and son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Brigid Edwards, grandkids Stephanie Jones, Justin Holl, Andrew, Nathan and Rebekah Edwards and James Farmer. She is also survived by her sister Olive Jane Diana and twin brother Victor (Sue) Jones. Helen also leaves her beloved card club with whom she was a member for over 50 years, and her sewing and quilting club.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11:00am at Zion Lutheran Church, 349 Lindy Lane NW, North Canton, OH 44720 with Rev. Mark Sherwindt and Rev. Ralph Edwards officiating. Friends may call Monday, April 4, 2011 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home from 6-8pm, and one hour before services Tuesday, April 5th at Zion Lutheran Church.
