Harriett Louise Wanless

Harriett Louise Wanless died peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2023, in Canton, Ohio, at the age of 90. She was born on June 14,1933, in Barberton, Ohio. Harriett was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family above all else.

Harriett is survived by her loving daughter Brenda Marie Hicks, son-in-law Ronald G. Hicks, and her grandchildren Matthew J. Hicks and Savannah Wanless. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James W. Wanless and her son Robert J. Wanless.

A graduate of Coventry High School, Harriett started working as secretary for the Akron Courts system. During her full life she held positions at Harry London Candy, Clarkin’s, and Brenda's Enchanted Florist.

Harriet's life will be celebrated on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, Ohio 44718. Family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM, service at 1:00 PM. Contributions in her memory can be made to Jackson Friends Church, 7945 Portage St NW, Massillon, Ohio 44646.

Harriet's warm presence and loving spirit will be deeply missed.
