Greg was born in Canton, Ohio on January 2, 1950 to Robert and Verna Rodgers. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, and served in the US Navy from 1968-1974. Greg worked at Sugardale for over 40 years, and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. He loved his Canton McKinley Bulldogs, Nascar, and taking his pontoon boat on Atwood Lake. He enjoyed family gatherings, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Greg loved to laugh and make others laugh as well.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Karen. He is survived by his children, Jason (Melissa) Rodgers, Nicole (Denny) Orr, and Natalie (Dean) Parsons, grandchildren, Benjamin, Brooklynne, Brennley, Colt, Jaxon, Cody, and Bristol, sister, Linda (Mark) Alper, brother, Mark (Amy) Rodgers, and nieces, Melissa, Ashley, and Megan.
Friends and family may call on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 12-1 p.m., with services to follow at 1 p.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Veterans Service or Canton Baptist Temple.
