Georgia C. Snyder

She was born on October 3, 1921 in Akron, Ohio to William and Clara (Droneberger) Marlin. Georgia was a former employee of Mack’s Pharmacy, Fulton Drug and Finney’s Drug Store. She also was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in North Canton. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who cared for her family, always.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Snyder in 2004; grandson, Ryan Snyder in 1997, and twin brother, George Culver Marlin. Surviving are her daughters, Nancy J. (Ned) Selinsky and Shirley Forney, both of North Canton; son, Ward (Nancy C.) Snyder of Canton; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ on Friday, July 18, 2014. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Eli Klingensmith at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Georgia’s memory to Zion United Church of Christ.
