Earl was born February 10, 1960 in Akron, OH to Essie (Walton) and Herbert Stevens, Jr. He was a graduate of Buchtel High School, and a veteran of the US Navy. Earl was employed with Akron Children's Hospital. He will be remembered for his love of dancing and singing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert, Sr. and Mary L. Stevens; Jesse and Roegine Walton; brother, DeShea Robinson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Anetha Stevens, Theresa (Derek) Dobbins, Denise Matthews, and Lola (Ricky) Austin; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends.
A visitation for Earl will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Earl will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron, OH. A special thanks to Toni Anderson Scholby, her daughter, and her grandson.
