Ethel Clara Moyer

Ethel C. Moyer, age 86, born in Marion, Ohio to the late Gerald and Anna (Swatosh) Schirmer passed away January 27, 2017. Ethel grew up in the Village of Green Camp, Ohio and graduated from Green Camp High School. After high school she attended Capital University where she graduated with a B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education. It was at Capital where she met her husband of 55 years, Charles A. Moyer. Ethel enjoyed antiquing, arts and crafts, gardening, reading and volunteering at the College Club of Canton, Ohio; Hoover Historical Center in North Canton, Ohio; Spring Hill in Massillon, Ohio and the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio. Ethel was preceded in death by her grandson, Douglas Moyer and is survived by sons, David A. (Karen Larry-Moyer) Moyer, Steven D. (Monica Rowland) Moyer, Paul D. (Donna Thane) Moyer and grandchildren, William and Eleanor Moyer and Karla and Carlos Moyer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Bartels officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-2pm Wednesday, one hour before services, at the funeral home.
