Donald N. Frank, age 73, was welcomed into heaven on September, 13, 2011. He was born August 5, 1938 in Canton, OH to Ellis and Katherine (Wilhelm) Frank. Don was a devout Christian and was an active member of St. Michael’s Church. Through the years, he was a faithful servant to our Lord ministering to the sick, serving as a Eucharist Minister, usher and also served on the parish counsel. He will be fondly remembered by his friends, children and grandchildren for never passing up the opportunity to say “I love you” whether it was a quick text message or late night phone call. He enjoyed a great (or bad) round of golf and never turned down a spirited game of Euchre. Don looked forward to spending vacation with his immediate family every year. He was Vice President and Co-Owner of Graphic Enterprises for 30 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5582
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; beloved grandson, Matthew Kappel; brother, Tom Frank; sister, Jean Frank; brother-in-law, Walt Eckroate.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra (DeMuesy) Frank; daughter, Christine (Michael) Kappel; son, Brian (Theresa) Frank, daughter, Michele (David) Bossart; daughter, Diane (Jim) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Noelle, Jacob, and Rachel Frank, Danielle, Nathan, Faith, and Zachary Kappel, Blake, Devon, Brett, Brooke and Tess Bossart, Jared and Erin Fitzpatick; brothers, Alfred (Pearl) Frank, David (Nancy) Frank; sister-in-law, Joan Frank; sisters, Donna (Arden) Gill, Marilyn Eckroate, and Joan Frank; brothers-in-law Rick (Martha) DeMuesy, and Gregory (Tina) DeMuesy, sister-in-law Lynnette Fejes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 16, 2011 from 4:00-7:00pm at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home and 9:00am Saturday morning (September 17, 2011) before Funeral services at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The 10:00am funeral mass will be conducted by Fr. Donald King. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Right to Life.
