You’ll always be my first Canadian friend.

Hey Cam. I hope heaven is treating you well. I’ve been thinking about you so much this week, and event thinking about all the stuff we did together as a kid. Going to Canada, riding your mini-bike, swimming, and the memory we always laughed about: when we were jumping on the trampoline and a hawk flew down to grab me and you pushed me to save me from getting hurt. You’re heart was always so pure. Love you Buddy, I’ll always miss you. Watch over your mom and dad ❤️. 

Whenever I’d talk to Cam, he always made it feel like it was the most important conversation in the world. Mariah and I took you to starbucks for the first time, and you told us all about how you planned to raise your daughter if you were to have one. I haven’t seen you in a while, but I was hoping to see you at church again really soon. I’ve been thinking about you constantly since I found out. But hey, at least I know you’ll be waiting on the other side. Catch ya at the pearly gates. 

well cam.. you were my best friend. we had so many memories and so many more we were supposed to create. we were supposed to grab breakfast that morning.. you were there for me through my toughest of times. you never hesitated to call me beautiful. your kindness was so pure. you were one of a kind.  I can’t wait until I get to see you again. you’ll always have a piece of my heart. I love you always. 

Oh Geez...the memories are many, but mostly I remember you and your mom when it was just a Duo, living down the road from me taking on the world in Sault Ste. Marie.  There was NO where you two wouldn't walk too, lil' toddler just bootin' around town on foot, power walking with his mamma!!!!  I remember from day 1.....day 1 your big cheeky grin, and the sparkle in your eye...that smile and sparkle never went away no matter what.  I also remember how terrified of a tiny fly you were....like terrified, but went on to be fearless in life.  I loved how much you loved your Mom and her you, obvious best friends and such a beautiful, fun, bond.  Take good care of your Mom from where you are, until we meet again sweety, love ya. xooxo

Cameron was such a good friend and was always the entertainment of the group. I’ve went to school with Cameron since kindergarten, we had a lot of fun times, I still remember the time we all went skating in 8th grade and had a blast even before all the new stuff was built or just even sitting in study hall playing finger football or even watching funny videos off YouTube, a bunch of good memories. But out of all the times we had, I will never forget the time you pulled that card from out of that apple in social studies. You did great magic tricks and you always had a joke ready, you’re going to be greatly missed man, r.i.p. Cam...

For 4 years you were such a great friend to me... I remember in 8th grade meeting you for the first time and you Jani and I became best friends. Texting, talking and video chatting every night catching up on anything and everything. Talking about our theories of the world... high school started and all three of us went to homecoming together... you and I had our EMS/ fire classes and every day we poked fun and laughed at each other about something. Even not talking to you for long after high school ended I feel that I still could have went to you for anything. Thank you for all the laughs. I’ll miss them. Rest In Peace.

We lost contact last year. But I never forgot the memories we have. I remember we met in 8th grade and we would eat lunch in our favorite teachers room. You were literally my brother. You let me cry on your shoulder every time I got my heart broken. Me, you, and Jenna would Skype all night and text in group chats all night. You were our rock. We were literally inseparable. All three of us were inseparable. I love you and I’ll miss you everyday. 

Cameron always brought a smile to my face. His energy was never ending as was his kindness. A Scout is many things including Trustworthy, Helpful, Friendly, Kind, and Cheerful. Cameron was all of those things and more. Miss you buddy.

Cam always had the most contagious smile, especially when I’d make fun of him for being Canadian. I love & miss you.

I remember when we drove all the way to the humane society but it was closed so we went back to my house and watched a movie and my dog was obsessed with you, cam. You had such a kind soul that anyone could sense from a mile away. I love you bud, rest peacefully. 

I had Cameron in class at GlenOak and he always made me smile.  He was kind, caring, and compassionate to other teachers and students. My prayers go out to his family and friends as they  mourn his loss. The world has certainly lost a great young man!  He was talented, easy going, and fun loving.  I will never forget his big smile and warm heart! Seems like only yesterday we were laughing and having a blast in C-210.  Hugs and prayers.  

I used to sit by Cameron every week in Sunday school and on Wednesday nights, he was constantly cracking jokes and making me laugh. He was so kind and always the first one to notice if I was upset about anything and would just listen if I needed him to. We spent all of our church's winter camp meals together with our little group and that's where we really all got to know each other. He taught us that milk comes in bags in Canada- "malk begs" and he later would say it sometimes just to make us laugh. I remember us going to Starbucks his first time and he hated it, we laughed about that too. I'll always remember Cam for his smile and as a light to those around him. 

Cameron, I remember your Mom bringing you to Reggie's when you were just a toddler. You were so scared of Reg but he won you over with a bag of chips everytime lol. RIP Cameron, I pray that you have found peace.
