Stephen Shectman

SHECTMAN, Stephen, of Sharon, peacefully passed away while listening to opera music on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the age of 87. He was the best friend, bridge partner and beloved husband of Phyllis (Bernstein) Shectman for almost 54 years. Cherished father of Linda and her husband Tim Kelly and Amy Shectman and Jeffrey Finger. The adoring grandfather of Jessica and Julia. Beloved brother in law of Susan Shectman of Newton, MA. Dear twin brother of the late Simon Shectman and his late siblings, Joseph and Luba. Dear brother-in-law of the late Jerry Bernstein and Linda Goldfarb and loving uncle to Jerry and Dan Shectman and Steven Bernstein and Abby Checkoff and their families. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6th, at 1:30 pm at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, CANTON, MA. Burial will take place at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva/visitation will be at Phyllis’ home at Whitney Place, 675 South Main Street, Sharon on Monday following burial until 7pm and Tuesday, from 3-7pm.
