Roberta M. (Ginsberg) Cohen

Beloved wife of the late Murray Cohen for 54 years, prior to his passing in 2007.

She loved knitting everyone blankets, reading, running bingo, being the “Mayor” at Fireman House. She worked at Fireman House for over 30 years as a volunteer, later running the dining room and President of the Senior Association. Her grandchildren were her life from the day they were born. Everyone that came into contact with her became her child. She never had a bad word for anyone and never me a stranger. Her love of dogs showed as there was always one in her home.

Those left to cherish Bobbie’s memory are her devoted children: Gary Cohen and his wife, Laurie of San Diego, CA, Michael Cohen and his wife Ellen of Stoughton, MA, David Cohen and his wife Ilene of So Windsor, CT, and Debra Reinhard and her husband Nathan Omansky of Denver, CO; cherished grandchildren: Rachael, Ariel, Jacob, Erica, Ava, Adam, Josh, Kyle, Danielle, Scott and Stefanie; treasured great-grandchildren: Olivia, Abby, Jaxon, Donovan, Joey, Mathew and Ariadne; and loyal sisters: Myrna Cedrone of Randolph, MA and Zena Mann of Stoughton, MA.

Funeral Service for Roberta will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will take place at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be observed at the home of Rachael and Jonathan Moore on Thursday following the burial until 7:00PM and Friday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 541 Foundry Street, Easton.
