Son of the late Lee (Cohen) and Benjamin Summerfield. Loving husband of Helene Hikey (Schwartz) Summerfield of 43 years. Beloved father of Bonnie Doniger and her husband Joseph of Randolph and Beth Brizel and her husband David of N. Carolina. Cherished Papa of 4 granddaughters and 5 great granddaughters. Brother of the late Myron Summerfield. Stepfather of Larry, Steven, Stuart and Karen and Step Papa to 9 grandchildren.
Robert was born in Boston on January 13, 1928. He was a very loving and caring person. Bob loved to tell jokes. He sold hearing aids for many years and made many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Immediately following the burial, Shiva will take place at Robert’s late residence on Wednesday only until 3 PM.
