Richard "Rick" Alan Weiner

Son of Mrs. Natalie (Richmond) Weiner and the late Herbert Weiner. Loving life-partner to Beverly Shuman of 23 years. Beloved father of Daniel Weiner and his wife Ashley and Keith Weiner and his wife Catherine. Stepfather of Stefanie Shuman and Andrea Shuman and her husband Marc. Cherished grandfather of Shane, Topher, Kellen, Zach, Blake, Ava, Jaxon and Remmie. Brother of Steven Weiner and his wife Susan, Lori Butler and her husband Edward, and Sheryl Sarkis and her partner Dante Danieli.

Rick was born in Boston on March 27, 1951. He had a great sense of humor, was lighthearted and made people laugh. He loved sports, especially the Celtics, New England Patriots and the Red Sox. Rick enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool. He was very social and loved spending time with family and friends. He loved going out to dinner and when you had Rick as a friend, you had him for life! Rick also enjoyed painting, home improvements and contracting. He had owned delis, Blockbusters and had a long list of ventures. Rick was not afraid to take risks.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Shiva will take place at Knollsbrook Condominiums Clubhouse immediately following the burial from 1-4 PM, continuing on Saturday at Andrea Shuman and Marc Savenor’s home from 7-9 PM.
