Beloved wife of the late Joseph Rosenwasser. Devoted mother of Alan Rosenwasser and his wife Marie Hayes and Barry Rosenwasser and his wife Susan. Sister of the late Michael Olive. Cherished grandmother of Janisa Geyer and her husband Michael, Joseph Rosenwasser and his wife Jenny, Jenna Rosenwasser and Molly Rosenwasser and her husband Matthew Schwartz. Loving great-grandmother of Mila Geyer.
Rae was born in the Bronx to Jacob and Bella Olive in April 1930. She was a dedicated and highly respected office manager for over 20 years for Reuben H Donnelly Corp., the publisher of the New York Yellow Pages. Rae enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid bowler who volunteered as the bookkeeper for the bowling leagues in which she participated. She loved reading and knitting. Once her vision was compromised by early onset macular degeneration, she enjoyed listening to books and magazines on tape. In her later years, Rae volunteered for the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, serving as coordinator of a vision support group in Sharon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 1:00 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park. Services and Shiva will be private for the family.
