Paul was a man deeply engaged in life. He loved socializing and had a wonderful ability to make everyone feel like family. To be greeted by his good-natured banter and teasing was to know, you were welcome and that he liked you. Paul co-founded North American Industries, a bridge crane manufacturer and after he retired, pursued his passion for creating metal sculptures. He was a life-long learner and throughout his retirement was enrolled in various classes. Above all, Paul was a true gentleman and a dear friend, with his closest friendships lasting over sixty years. He was well known for his oratory prowess. His beautiful toasts, though often a bit long, were a hallmark of family gatherings and his "Paul-isms" were legendary within the family.
As with his art, Paul’s life was a masterpiece of love, kindness, and connection. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories. May he rest in eternal peace, his spirit forever alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
