

Marty grew up in Dorchester, MA. He was valedictorian at Dorchester High School and later attended Boston University.
An aviation enthusiast, he was a systems engineer with GE’s Aircraft Engine Group for 35 years, and as a young man an active member of the Civil Air Patrol. Marty enjoyed playing tennis, biking, and listening to classical music. He fashioned himself a conductor and could be regularly seen “conducting” at his granddaughter’s violin recitals. His trips to Tanglewood were always the highlight of his summer.
Marty was a kind and gentle man whose first thoughts were always for other people. He was a proud and ardent supporter of the State of Israel and the American military, and was a member of NH for Israel.
He is survived by his twin sister Marlene Marsh of Mashpee, MA; brother Charles Weinstein of Deerfield Beach, FL; three sons, Wess Weinstein of Salem, NH, Brett Weinstein of Haverhill, MA, Shad Weinstein and wife Rachel of Sharon, MA and his two beautiful granddaughters Isabella and Sarah.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, November 12th at Plymouth Rock Cemetery, 1000 Pearl Street, Brockton, MA.
