Mark Lewis Jacobson

Mark Lewis Jacobson passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025 at 71 years of age. Mark was born in Boston to the late Bernice G. (Flashner) and Edward R. Jacobson. He was the loving husband to Karen Elizabeth Jacobson for 44 years; the beloved father of Michael Adam and Elena Rebecca Jacobson; cherished grandfather to his grand puppies Dakota, Snooki and Scout; and adored brother of Alan and Steven Jacobson.

Mark was a Master's Level Social Worker at Boston Medical Center where he was loved and respected by his peers. Highly regarded for his outstanding work and quality of care servicing challenging clientele. Karen and Mark Wed on June 22, 1980 after meeting at LSU, where they made life long relationships with others as well, including Vil Travis and Karen Travis.

Mark and Karen loved to travel the world, some notable destinations include Switzerland, London, France, Venice, Israel and the one place that changed their lives forever, Russia, where they adopted Michael and Elena. Mark was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service for Mark, Wednesday March 2025 at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Interment will immediately follow services at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.

A memorial gathering will be held immediately following interment at Conrad's Restaurant Norwood, 728 Washington Street, Norwood.
