I was so saddened to have recently learned of Jon's passing. I was a classmate of his at  Skidmore College and I don't think I ever saw Jon around campus without a smile on his face.  He left us way too soon. My thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jon's passing.    Jon was rarely to be seen without a twinkle in his eye and smile on his face.    He was a caring and loving man and I am grateful for having known him.  Although we were not in close contact after the Hulak's left Roanoke,  whenever I saw a Facebook or LinkIn update from the Hulaks, it always brought a smile to my face. I'm shocked and saddened to get the news this morning of Jon's passing. He is highly-respected by those of us in the legal community. I knew him to be a generous thought leader,  a warm, engaging speaker, and a truly nice person. I enjoyed our conversations about the practice and future of law, the role of business professionals and the changing times. 

I will remember him as a kind, caring person who was so helpful to others. I will always recall that, in each of of conversations, he spoke with such great love and pride about his beloved family, asked about mine,  and that he particularly enjoyed sharing recent pictures of his beautiful, talented, intelligent, wonderful daughters. 

He will be missed. I will keep you - and him - in my thoughts.

 I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear the news of Jon's tragic passing.  I remember when Jon and Lisa were small children, when my peers and I sat in Jerry and Arlene's living room planning our Temple pre-teen youth activities; then again, as teenagers, throughout all the fun days of PEATY, Jon, like his wonderful family, was always full of life and good cheer.  He always brought the fun with him into the room.  I've been Facebook friends with Jon over the years, and have been so gratified to see that his devoted friendships from his Peabody days have persisted.  Jerry and Arlene, and all of the Hulaks, you are in my thoughts and in my prayers. Jon was a valued member of our law firm industry group.  He had a great knowledge of law firm pricing & economics, but more importantly he had a great wit and quick smile.  I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing.  He will be greatly missed.  Hugs & Peace to the family!

Arlene and Jerry, I was sorry to hear about Jon’s passing. I have fond memories of you, Jon and Alisa from our childhood. I could see from my online friendship with Jon over the last several years that he loved his life and family.
