Jennie (Alster) Horn, of Stoughton, Massachusetts, entered into rest on January 16, 2022 at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of the late Max Horn, devoted mother of Michele Warshaw and her husband James and Doreen Kriegel and her husband Andrew. Cherished grandmother of Miriam Kriegel, Jacob Kriegel and Anna Weiss, Lauren Warshaw and Rachel Warshaw, and loving great-grandmother of Max, Aria, Shira, Milo, Emery and Scarlett.
Jennie was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1928, and moved to Italy when she was six years old, during World War II. In Italy, she was placed in a concentration camp. After surviving the war, she went to Israel and met her husband Max Horn. In 1952 they came to America, and reunited with her husband's family in Brookline, Massachusetts. In Brookline she raised her two daughters. She is most proud of her family, including her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at on Monday, January 17th at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Masks and full vaccinations required. Services will be livestreamed.
Interment will be at Young Israel Cemetery, Grove Street, West Roxbury, MA.
Shiva will be private due to Covid.
