Daughter of the late Lizzie (Stern) and Kurt Hansel. Former wife of the late Jerry Goldman of 35 years before his passing. Beloved mother of Corey Goldman of Sharon and Wendy Clark and her husband Tom of W. Warwick. Cherished Nuna of Jared, Kayla and Cameron. Best friend of Sandy Miller.
Eileen was born in Boston on December 20, 1943. Since day one, she has been the rock of our family, building loving bonds with all of her time. Throughout her happy and successful life, Eileen worked at the JCC and also spent many years at Randolph Savings Bank in Stoughton. After moving to Brookline, she developed a loving passion for selling and collecting Avon products until she departed from her lovely Brookline condo.
Eileen enjoyed her time working at Temple Sinai in Sharon as a secretary, always putting big smiles on everyone’s faces, especially the kids. When she wasn’t working, she loved indulging in gatherings with her friends within the Red Hatters. Some of her favorite hobbies including playing Mahjong, watching Jeopardy, taking trips to Rockport with friends and family, and making her famous brisket. She love collecting elephants with the trunk up, of course, and played with her sweet parakeets every day. Eileen has always had the biggest heart in the room and now she is able to love us all from above.
At the age of 80, she still had the most beautiful smile. We love you “Mom/Nuna/Goldie/Eileen”. Keep smiling from heaven with Papa, don’t argue too much.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Polonnoe Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, W. Roxbury.
