He was the son of the late Rose (Gardner) and Joseph Stein. David was the beloved husband of the late Mildred (Mickey) (Elsner) Stein and the late Joan (Ryder) Stein. He is survived by his loving children, Joyce Weinstein and her husband Dean of South Easton, and Allan Stein and his wife Lisa of Battle Ground, Washington. David was a cherished grandfather to Matthew, Sophi, Melanie, and Joshua.
Born in Boston on September 26, 1933, Dave grew up in Dorchester, where he met his first wife, Mickey. Later, they moved to Mattapan and then to Randolph, where they built their dream home and raised their two children. David had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles. He was the owner of Woodland Auto Body in Randolph, where he worked until transitioning to become an independent auto adjuster until his retirement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will take place at the home of Joyce & Dean following the burial on Sunday until 7 PM and Monday 12-2 PM.
