Beloved wife of the late Max Satz. Devoted mother of Myra J. Polson and her partner David Klemme. Cherished grandmother of Zachary Polson, Cameron Polson, and Cassidy Groves. Loving sister of the late Robert Katz. Very special aunt of Julie Hymovitch and her husband Steven and their children Stefanie, Hannah, Hallie, David, and Evan. Dear aunt of Mark Katz and his wife Lisa and their sons, Noah and Zachary.
Barbara was born in Dorchester, Boston on September 26, 1934 to Morris and Irene (Olitsky) Katz. She had a unique talent with numbers, working as a bookkeeper, at the stock market, and as a tax preparer. She enjoyed playing bagel, bingo, and mahjong. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services on Monday, June 14 at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA 02067.
