Zenaida Garcia, 52, of Hartford, beloved wife of Peter Cintron, Sr., passed away peacefully at home with her devoted family by her side on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on August 14, 1968, she was the loving daughter of Julia Ortiz and the late Jose Angel “Chengo” Garcia. She worked as a DMV clerk for Harte Nissan for many years, as well as many other dealerships in CT. She was a master chef that made a meal out of anything. She loved to cook, dance, laugh, and she loved her Buick’s. She was into fashion and music, always the life of the party with a smile so bright that the sun and the moon would envy it. The one place where she found the most peace was at the beach, being an island girl, it is the one place that she’d rather be. In addition to her husband and mother, Zenaida will be forever missed by her two children, Peter Cintron, Jr. and Valerie Cintron both of Hartford and her three adored grandchildren, Sofia, Zoe and Peter Emiliano or “Petercito” like she would love to call him. She is also survived by her brother, Osvaldo Garcia and her sister, Rebecca Garcia both of Puerto Rico, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
