Margaret Ann Harris

WOODLAND HILLS, CA – Margaret (Pam) Mohaupt Harris, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away suddenly on October 17, 2024 at the age of 82.

She was born on September 3, 1942 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Margaret Mulkey and Charles Mohaupt. She attended Ohio State University earning a degree in Home Economics.

In January 1968, she married Paul M. Harris who preceded her in death in 2007. Pam & Paul relocated to California in 1968 where they permanently settled and had their only child, Charlene in 1972. Pam worked at various insurance companies, bringing positivity and good humor to the office. She was still working part-time for Centene at the time of her death.

She greatly enjoyed California life which included spending time on their boat, going to Catalina on weekends as a young family, traveling the world and cruising.

She spent a considerable amount of time with her daughter Charlene Tamparong; son-in-law, Roland Tamparong; and grandchildren Xander Paul, Xayne Charles and Xoey Margaret-Marie Tamparong of Simi Valley, California. She was supportive, sarcastic, smart, adventurous and funny.

She is survived by her brother Dr. Charles (Camille) Mohaupt of Boca Raton, Florida, and sister Sally Eckert of Henrico, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held November 8th at 11am at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Praisewater Mortuary, 6909 Canoga Avenue, Canoga Park, California 91303.
