There's nothing to describe the pain
I felt that day death called your name
I cried and yelled in disbelief
Overcome by sadness, hurt and grief

It Broke our hearts to lose you,
but you never went alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day god took you home

 Now we turn to memories to try and heal the pain

For memories though sweet and dear
Could never replace the joy of having you here

It is often said a father is their daughter and granddaughters first love
I guess then we were lucky we got an angel from above 
And although your time with us has come to an end

I love you Papi Luis with all my heart and I will miss you so.

We are all feeling terribly sad, 
that we've lost our Grandpa, our friend, and our dad.
Together we have cried an ocean of tears, 
because we feel so empty and hold so many fears.

But Papi, we know that you're in a good place 
and that you're watching us all with a smile on your face. 
We made you proud, as proud as you could be, 
to know that you raised such a beautiful and special family. 

Thinking back now I really must say, 
I feel lucky and privileged to have known you “Papi” to this day. 
For in my life, you have played a special part, 
the memories I will treasure and keep them close to my heart. 

I am glad that my daughters you got to meet, 
and we are all grateful that your life is now complete. 
Each one of us knows how much you loved us and cared,
 and we are all thankful for the good times that we shared. 

Although you are gone we will always be together, 
and your spirit will live on in each one of us forever. 
When we look to the sky and find the brightest star, 
we will know that it's you “Papi” looking down on us from afar.
 
And now I would like to thank the good Lord above 
for blessing us with our Papi with his kindness and love. 
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss, 
take extra special care of our Papi as he is very dear to us. 

Papi if you are listening say a prayer for us every day,
be sure to protect us and guide us on our way. 
We know when God called you, you had to go, 
but we want you to know we miss you and love you so!

Papi te quiero mucho! Gracias por siempre estar conmigo.  Tu eras mi papa y mi abuelito y siempre lo seras! Gracias por todo lo que hiciste por mi, mis hijas, mi hermana, y mi mama. Te lo agradesco mucho! Te amo!
