Lloyd Vincent Taylor

Lloyd Vincent Taylor, the second son of Hayward Taylor, Jr. and Idee Holloway Taylor, was born in Lynwood, CA on May 9, 1955. Even from an early age, Lloyd had an infectious smile and laugh and a bonding connection to his older brother Hayward, III.

While attending San Fernando High School, Lloyd dated the love of his life, Sandra Loud, and upon his high school graduation, he attended Los Angeles Valley College and later became a Mechanical Designer; which was his occupation for 25 years. While acquiring an education, Lloyd and Sandra were separated for many years, but as fate would have it, over 20 years ago, they met again, and were together since then. They were to be married next month.

Lloyd had a passion for basketball, and loved music and collecting old albums. He was a kind and easy going person who genuinely loved his family and friends, especially his “Big Brother” Hayward. Lloyd was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his mother, Idee Harris Veil and his stepfather, William “Billy” Harris. Forever cherishing his memory are; his father, Hayward Taylor, Jr; brothers, Hayward Taylor III, Kevin Williams, Michael Williams; sister Daphne Gates; aunt, Yvonne Erwin; niece, Devyn Sims; nephews, Chase Williams and Sam Williams; stepfather, Ellis Veil; a loving and devoted Fiancé Sandra Loud, and many loving and caring aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
