J'ai connu Kai en regardant l'émission Custom Garage et un hommage lui à été rendu également ici en France à travers un épisode spécial dans Custom Garage et j'ai été très touché par le discours de Ian Roussel en la mémoire de son grand ami Kai.
C'était un magnifique hommage et un merveilleux moment.
Toutes mes condoléances à sa famille.
Qu'il repose en paix.

I didnt know Kai but for seeing him on "Full Custom Garage" and any one who is friend of that show and Ian i consider a friend of mine.His love of the "Culture" and family shines through.As hard as it is when we lose a loved one,the greatest things we, us, ourselves can do is morn their loss,Then know with every beautiful day we have been blessed by the Lord,We will be reunited with our lost loved ones beyond this earthly plain.Not because ive said so, but because he said so,Our Father Jesus Christ.Kai will not be forgotten...R.I.P. On the third anniversary of your transition to heaven we gathered with your friends at a place that you loved high up in the Bavarian Alps.  Your ashes were scattered at this location that you visited in October 2018. You are now home in your beloved Alps.  We continue to miss you and love you.

Kai brought peace to me with his gentle voice and friendly personality when I first saw him on full custom garage. He is someone I would have been proud to be friends with.
He is at rest and at peace.

2013 - In Budapest, Hungary Kai always joking around like a zombie, "I will eat off your face"!

Thank you to Ian Roussel of Full Custom Garage on Motor Trend TV for restoring Kai's beloved "Purple Haze".  The segment on the show was very touching and you captured a side of my husband Kai, that was so spot on.  I loved hearing his voice and his laughter.  Thank you for the bottom of my heart. I’m a fan if Full Custom Garage. I can tell that Ian really misses Kai.  I just saw the new episode where he put Kai’s personal chopper back together. 
Lots of Kai views from the past. 
 It was a great show.  
By the way, how many people have said that Kai looks like Kyle Petty.  To me they look like twins.

 Year two since you left to be our guardian angel.  I miss you terribly, but I take comfort in the fact that I see a little bit of you in everything around me.  I especially smile when I am on the freeway and someone on a Harley is splitting lanes.  It reminds me of all the times we went on adventures together on the bike.  The wind blowing in our hair, the sun warming our faces, and nothing but open road ahead.  Sometimes we would wander around and get lost, and we'd always joke and say "the fun is finding your way back".  Like that time we went looking for Mono Lake, and never found it, but half of the fun was getting lost.  The adventures we had on two wheels are memories I will cherish for a lifetime.  Thank you for some the best years of my life spent beside you.  We always said we were the loves of each other's lives, I just never knew that I would be the last love of your life and not be able to grow old and cantankerous with you.  Please continue to watch over us till we meet again my sweet husband. 

Today, April 22 one year ago, at 4:20 pm you became my guardian angel.  Without you, it has been a year of missing you, facing challenges, making good and bad decisions, and personal growth.  After returning from Colombia in April of 2019, we were full of plans for how we were going to spend our 4 months of the year down in Pereira. Our retirement plan included spending 4 months in Austria, Colombia, and here in the states.  We were going to fulfill our wanderlust as senior citizens and do good for others along the way.  Little did we know that after two months of moving into our forever home, our lives would change dramatically.  Through it all you were a champion.  You fought hard, and even continued to work out.  We remained positive that you would beat this beast.  Our plans didn’t matter, as God had a different plan for you and called you home to him 9 months after diagnosis.  My heart was shattered to a million pieces.  I was devastated, I couldn’t understand why he would take you.  You were the kindest, gentlest soul I had ever met.  You were my hero, my sun rose and set by my kiddo and you.  Both of you were my world, now a piece of that world was gone.  I had no clue how I would go on.   I found projects to keep me busy during the day and spent many nights crying.  In a year without your physical presence, I have felt you guide me and comfort me as your spirit is always with me.  Our love was one that transcends death, and you will have my love for the rest of my life.  We always said to each other that we were the loves of our lives, and so it will continue until we see each other again. If God continues to grant me health and a means, I will fulfill some of those dreams we had of helping others. We who have been blessed with so much have a duty to help those who are less fortunate, and I will do it in your name my love.  

Saw Kai on Full Custom Garage a couple of times and immediately saw that he was a kind, understanding person who had status--and yet he didn't flaunt it or  throw it in your face.  Would like to have been a friend of his and would offer my condolences due to his passing.  May he RIP.
