Yvonne Cleveland

On Thursday, April 11th, 2024, at the age of 92, passed away Mrs. Yvonne Lagacé Cleveland of Atholville, wife of the late Ernest Cleveland and to her late companion Leo Gionet. She was the daughter of the late Pamela born (Haché) and the late Charles Lagacé.

Over the years she enjoyed knitting, baking, playing cards, sometimes a small garden, planting flowers and of course her bingo nights. Proud and independent, clothes and fashion were always top of mind. She cherished our many family gatherings; the music, singing and dancing. She treasured the skits we would do, as she would participate anytime she could. Mom, the music will and does play on through your grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sincere thanks to all staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, they were awesome, we, the Cleveland family are so grateful for your great care and kindness to mom.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Marlene (Richard Dunn) of Moncton, Albert Cleveland, of Atholville, Denise (Gilles Roy) of Atholville, Diane (Stéphane Savoie) of Atholville, Ronald Cleveland (Renelle Ouellette) of Moncton, Betty (Matthew Firth) of Atholville; her seventeen grand children and fifteen great-grand children; her sister Aline Poirier and brother Henri Lagacé.

As per her final wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
