Wendy (Cooling) Ferguson

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 10th , 2021 at the age of 72 , Mrs. Wendy Cooling Ferguson of Campbellton, NB , wife of Jerry Ferguson.

Born in Campbellton on September 27th, 1948, daughter of (the late) Eileen Mahoney Cooling and of (the late) Herbert Cooling.

She worked at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, and enjoyed reminiscing about her days there very much. During her younger years she enjoyed being a figure skating coach at the Flatlands Recreational Center.

She was a dedicated Mother, and Grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children, and grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. Anyone who had the privilege to cross her path, always spoke of her kind heart.

She is survived by her daughter Melody (Sonny) Johnson, of Campbellton, NB, her son Jody (Christine) Ferguson of Telkwa, BC , her grandchildren, Brandon, Savannah, Joshua, Justice, Jesse, Everly, Nash, Kaleb, her sister Tova Cooling Scott as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Walton (Sonny) Cooling, and sister Connie Cooling Noble.

A Funeral Service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. in Campbellton on Monday July 19th, at 4pm. To attend the Service, please call the funeral home to register at 506-789-1699.

Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, on Sunday July 18th from 2 to 4pm.

The family wishes to extend a sincere Thank You to the OBS, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care Nurses, and staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. We will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion they gave to our mother, and family during this difficult time.
