Roland Pitre

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 6, 2007, passed away Roland Pitre at the age of 57 years, husband of Monique (LeBlanc) Pitre. He was the son of the late Victoria Soucy and the late Lawrence Pitre.

He will be sadly missed by his wife: Monique Pitre of Eel River Crossing, his sons: Alain (Mélissa) of Pte-la-Nim, Serge of Eel River Crossing and Michel of Eel River Crossing; his grandson Jacob Pitre, his sisters: Melvina Pitre (Romain Maltais) of McKendrick and Nicole Chouinard (Gilles) of Balmoral; his brothers: Norbert of Sept-Iles, Qc., Patrick (Madeleine) of McKendrick, Romain (Madeleine) of Maltais and Alcide (Suzanne) of McKendrick. Il laisse également plusieurs nièces, neveux, belles-sœurs, beaux-frères et amis. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and specially friends will also miss him.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Aldéa.

The funeral was held on March 8, 2007 at the Ste-Trintié Church, Eel River Crossing, and celebrated by Father R. Landry with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. The pallbearers were the members of the Eel River Crossing Fire Department: Maurice Bujold, Yvon Bujold, Marc Savoie, Michael Whalen, Richard Nadeau and Camille Arseneault, and the honorary pallbearers were: Graydon Whalen, Arnold Burris, Robert Maltais, Gilbert Aubé, Réal Levesque et Dean Whalen.
