My condolences to the family,  Rena was a dear friend of my mom,  Edwidge Boulay.  Your mom was a kind soul and such a sweet person. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mrs Parker was my instructor in the Arts and Science of Nursing at the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing. She was an excellent instructor and I enjoyed her classes enormously. I especially loved the few occasions when we met up later on in my life. She had a very positive influence on my nursing career.

My deepest sympathies to Rena’s family.  I had the pleasure of meeting Rena while working at Bursey Towers, she was a true lady.  

So sorry for your loss. 
I am happy to have seen her when I was last home. We enjoyed a glass of wine over a chat. When Allan phoned while I was there she handed me the phone with a glint in her eye and a smile, intent on playing a joke to Allan as to why a man would answer  her phone :) 
In our visit she would reminisce about Dick, talk about Allan, Carmelynn and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 I fondly remember Dick and her opening up her cottage to our family visits, some great memories there. Such a great giving person.  
Returned to her soulmate’s embrace, RIP my sweet Godmother.

     I was so sorry to hear of Rena’s passing. I reconnected with her about four years ago when I played the piano at the Village. It touched me deeply when she shared memories of my parents, Don and Rita Murray. 
     She liked my music so I gave her copies of my CDs.  She would call me every now and then to chat and to let me know how much she was enjoying listening to them.  If I was not home she would leave a delightful message.

They say that grief is the price to pay for love, your mother was loved by all her student RN nurses and by all whom had the good fortune to have met her.
Rena was a lady, a treasure, she continually gave of herself to the service of all. Her shared knowledge and kindness will always be in my heart. Rena was a terrific teacher, my teacher.

Rena was a very special relative to me. Being from a large family of eight, my memory of her goes back to when I was  4 years old, Rena would have been about 13. We lived across the road from Rena's family and being an only child, she was like an added member of our large family. Rena's gift of caring for others was very present at an early age.  As Rena said "If there was a new baby I always wanted to be there." 

In 1945 my family left Maria  to relocate to Waterville, Maine. Rena graciously has been my Bujold family historian for years since losing my father at the age of sixteen.  Her friendship and phone calls were so enlightening  and entertaining.  I will forever be grateful for having had  such a precious relationship with my dear cousin, Rena Bujold Parker. 

My deepest condolences to the Bujold Parker families. Rena will be deeply missed.

Carmelynn, Allan,  I read with shock of your Mom's passing. The last time I saw her was on a visit " back home"  and saw her on the lawn enjoyimg the sun at the Village. Our family were neighbours be it on Lansdowne Street or at the cottage in Pointe a la Garde. "A Classic Lady" best describes your mother.
Ann-Marie joins me in sending our deepest sympathy. But for another commitment, I would  come to Campbellton to attend her funeral. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

With fond memories my family grew up affectionally considering Rena "Aunt Rena" although she was my Mom's cousin. Her passion for life was only exceeded by her love of her family, whom she cherished more than any worldly possession. What a celebration there must have been at the pearly gates of heaven with the Bujold/Parker clans. Rest in peace Aunt Rena as your family continue your legacy of kindness &  we celebrate your life!

Rena was always a class act by an older cousin!!
I remember her dropping in on us when we were still a family living in Campbellton.  She was always dressed nicely and seemed to have interesting things to do.
I was delighted to remain in written contact with her in later years.
She was always a great communicator.  In many ways she was a role model in aging.....being 15 yrs older than me.  Loved our phone calls.
Her children were ALWAYS a primary focus.
She leaves a vacancy in lives of all who knew her!

Rena was very special to all of our Bujold family since she lived across the road from our house in Maria.   Since she was an only child and we were 8 children, she spent many hours at our home.  She felt like she was part of our family.  
We then moved to Maine but would return to Canada very often.  We would always stop to visit Dick and Rena and it was such a joy to see them both.  
May all that she held sacred continue to live in you all.
