Pat was one of a kind. If you knew him, you knew that you were never quite sure what he was going to say next- but whatever it was, it was sure to make you laugh, think, or shake your head. He had a sharp wit, a big heart, and a way of keeping everyone on their toes.
He was predeceased by our parents, James and Maxine, and by our brothers Larry and Robert, who we know welcomed him with open arms.
Left to miss him everyday are his sisters: Carol (Ricky), Ruth (Allan), Robin (Larry), Shelly, Kim, and Tracy (Matthew), and his brothers: Mike, Jimmy, Terry, Kevin (Patsy), Danny (Maria) and Barry (Sheila). Pat also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime’s worth of great friends who meant the world to him.
We want to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital for the kindness and care they showed Pat during his time there. It meant so much to us.
In true Pat fashion, he didn’t want any fuss. There will be no visitation or service, just a quiet burial in Matapedia this fall, where he’ll rest with our parents.
We’ll miss his stories, his laugh and his presence more than words can say.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.maherfuneralhomes.com for the family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher’s funeral Home, Campbellton.
