Patrick A. Proctor

Patrick was born in Glace Bay, NS on May 16, 1949. He was the son of the late Lester and Mary (Gallagher) Proctor. Patrick leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Margaret Proctor (Murray); his daughter Laurie McIntyre-Weigand of Kitchener, ON; his sons Patrick Proctor (fiancée Rebecca) of Fredericton, James "Jamie" Proctor of Perth-Andover; his sister Sr. Patricia Proctor of Halifax, NS; four grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents; his daughter Mary Proctor; brothers Archie and Bernard "Bucky" Proctor; his sister Carol Griffin.

Patrick served with the Canadian Armed Forces for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the Canadian Army's Black Watch. Following his retirement from the military, Patrick worked as a truck driver until his failing health forced him to stop. Patrick was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #36.

A memorial service will be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, NB on Wednesday December 14th at 2 pm.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel from 1 pm until time of service.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Stephen Harnish officiated. Interment will be in the Dawsonville Community Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
