If roses grow in heaven, please pick a bunch for me.  Place them in Martha’s arms and tell her they’re from me.  Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place  a kiss upon her cheek  and hold her for awhile.  Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.

It took me a while to gather my thoughts before writing, but time hasn’t made it any easier. 
Like a second mother to me, you were a very important part of my youth.  I will be forever thankful for your generosity, kindness, humor and warming up my Chef Boy-R-Dee for my daily school lunch throughout grades 10-12.   So glad I got to take a picture with you last year.    That picture and the beautiful memories of you will be forever treasured.

So sad to hear about Aunt Martha's passing and thinking about Gus and all of the family.   We have lots of fond memories going back to childhood of Martha , Gus and the girls including the holiday in Balquidder from before moving to Canada as well the  visits back here over the many years since.

I was so saddened to hear of Martha's passing.   I remember her well from the Restigouche Hospital Center and from many encounters at Superstore with her husband.   She was a very nice lady with a great smile and laugh.  My sincerest sympathies to her husband, children and grandchildren.
