Judith Anne Lefurgey of Campbellton, NB passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the age of 81. Judy was born on November 8, 1941 in Halifax, NS to the late Beatrice (Wyers) and to the late Wilson Lefurgey.
Judy was dedicated to her career as a registered nurse at The Village Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a member and served as president of Legion Branch 19 in 2005. She loved reading, was a skilled seamstress and the considered the official family sock knitter, everyone had warm feet.
Judy’s survived by children Lisa Ellis (Paul) Kelowna BC, son Alan Marchand, sisters Susan Falle (Wade) Grande Prairie, AB and Vivian Lefurgey (Jim Vieau) Toronto ON, sister-in-law Kathy Walsh-Lefurgey Campbellton, NB. Judy was also survived by her four grandchildren Caleigh Dooris (Gerrit) Campbell River BC, Brendan Ellis (Vilde) Fredrickstad Norway, Sean Ellis (Kaitlyn) Kelowna BC, Josh Ellis (Jasmine) Kelowna BC and nieces Aysleigh Lefurgey (Mike) Campbellton NB, Mayme Lefurgey (Rob) Fredericton NB and nephew Tyson Falle (Courtney) Grande Prairie AB. Predeceased by, brother David Lefurgey, nephew Bradly Falle, and nephew Nicholas Vieau.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 am.
