Gisèle O’Toole died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 7th, 2020 at the age of 92 . Gisèle O'Toole of Campbellton, NB, wife of the late Earl O’Toole was born in Maria, Quebec on September 2nd,1927,daughter of the late Marcelin Le Blanc and the late Diana (Chrétien) Le Blanc.
Gisèle was a Pharmaceutical Technician at Bujold’s Pharmacy for many years. She was also a past member of the CWL at St. Thomas Aquinas and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the NB Seniors Citizen Federation, International Bridge Association ,Les Dames D’Acadie. She was an avid volunteer with various groups . She was often seen as a sharp bridge player with her friends and enjoyed a good game of cards. She was an avid Bingo player and didn’t mind taking the odd trip to Moncton to play the slots. In Lieu of flowers ,donations can be made to the donor’s choice .
She is survived by her children: Patrick (Shirley),Nancy, (late Jean Menard), John (Theresa), Susan, (late Garnet Connors), Carol Ann, William (Verna) and a grandmother of 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter Marilyn "Molly" Desrochers (Willie), several brothers and sisters as she was the last remaining member of the LeBlanc Family.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church Campbellton, Wednesday, July 15, at 2:00 pm, Due to the Covid restrictions we are limited to approximately 50 people. Immediate family members living within the same household may sit together otherwise, social distancing will be required. To attend the Funeral Mass you must register prior to the Mass with Michael Arseneault at 506-789-0308 and leave a msg. specifying the funeral, with the names of all persons being registered and their contact phone numbers. We will accept registration up to midnight July 14, 2020. Thank you for your patience with these protocols...
Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00. Due to social distancing protocols, there will be a limited amount of people allowed in the Funeral Home at one time.
