Sorry to hear of Cynthia‘s passing.  She was a good friend of my mom and my grandmother ‘s when we lived in Campbellton.  The last time I saw Cynthia was at my mom’s funeral which was 32 years ago. I am not sure why but was thinking of Cynthia last night and looked this up and saw she had a passed I am sorry to hear this. I will always remember her and her positive outlook on things. So sorry to learn of Cynthia's passing.  Mom (Carolyn Kaine) always enjoyed her visits to see Cynthia and I was so glad she was able to be with us in May of 2019 when we came to NB to scatter mom's and dad's ashes. 

Though I have not seen Cynthia for years, we kept in touch occasionally via phone and email. Cynthia always contacted me on my birthday.  We grew up together in Wyers Brook and had a lot of shared memories. I only learned today that Cynthia was with the Angels but I know she will be happy in Heaven with Bill, family and friends who have gone before. She was a funny and very kind lady!  I will miss her!  Rest easy, Cynthia..

Big Cess!!!!!  My   second Mother   :)  Cynthia looked after our whole gang who all hung out at Big Cess's  and Big Strappin Bill :)  what a force they were . In there own way they   gave us the lessons we needed to keep us within the boundries   hahahaa .....Cynthia was the coolest Mother  anyone could ever have ...period    I never went hungry ........always a chair at the table at supper   lunch   what ever  :)     Her sense of humour  was second to none as dry as it might have been    Her love for the  friends of Kennies and Daves and Cheryls   was warm and forgiving   I always enjoyed stopping in for a chat with her when i visit Campbellton   I will miss her  for she also opened a secret part of my life ...........RIP Cynthia and tell Big strappin Bill I miss him as well  :)

Cynthia was such a wonderful lady and the experiences I had playing ball with her I will always cherish. I am so Blessed that I got to pay a visit with Cynthia this summer and we had a nice time reminiscing about our good times together! I’ll miss you my friend!

This is a day we were not looking forward to.  Elvin and I met Cynthia when she visited Barbados with Cheryl (thanks Cheryl and Dave for sharing her with us) and that started a great friendship.  

Cynthia was a gem of woman she loved life, her family, friends and us.  We adored her and we loved her with all our hearts.  She had us laughing our heads off with her witty personality, she was hilarious.  I will dearly miss our telephone conversations, her laughter and thoughtfulness as she always asked about our families (by names - great memory) and about a dog name Duke (she gave him that name).  

We were so looking forward to spending time with her at her home (she told us that she had a room waiting for us anytime) but Covid came and we were unable to travel and even though we only knew her for a short time, I can write about Cynthia forever.   

God has received an Angel into his Kingdom.  Rest in Peace Cynthia and Rise in Glory.  Keep on line dancing.

Kenny, Dave, extended families and Cheryl who by God`s direction was surely sent to balance the mischievousness Bill and Cynthia  may have periodically received from the boys, please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother and grandmother.
Growing up a neighbor, my memories of Cynthia are as old as I am and have always been of a tall, beautiful women walking past our home on her way to and from Restigouche Nurseries. I do not think before nor since have I seen anyone carry herself so gracefully, she would almost float by as if on air. I do not doubt that today she will be floating on air once again and I only wish circumstances were different so I could be there to share in the tribute to her life.
Sadly many neighbors have now departed and our generation has taken on lives of our own but luckily we will always have  childhood souvenirs from the large Victoria Street family.

My heart is broken. Cynthia was an exceptional woman and a wonderful neighbour. Memories flooded back to the delightful smell of home made bread she cooked every Saturday. To her regal appearance and her gentle manner. She consoled me on so many occasions, too many to count , from childhood through to adulthood.  Every memory is one of grace, kindness and love.  She was a woman I admired, respected and adored.   I loved her and will always cherish the memories I have. To David and Kenny and family,  my heart breaks for you and for us. 

it was with sadness that I learned of Cynthia's death, I have wonderful memories of working with her and of visiting her in July and of the time Cynthia is a wonderful woman and full of love for her family and everyone she welcomed

I had the privilege of meeting Cynthia a few time over  the years. This past August when I was home Cheryl took me to visit Cynthia .  Cheryl was running out to do a few errands for Cynthia and I stayed and had a visit .  What a wonderful brave lady who was at peace with her life.

Cynthia will be sadly missed and well remembered.  We have had many good times at our line dancing lessons and parties.  Also, Cynthia’s visit at my home last month touched me dearly.  She was a fun loving lady.
